Draft 1 · INV-118 · Calder DesignNot sent
Invoice INV-118 for $3,200 was due on 13 August — I’ve re-attached it in case it needs re-filing. If it’s already scheduled, ignore me entirely.
Remit
Accounts receivable, weekly
At 09:00 every Tuesday, Remit reads your aging report and writes one reminder per overdue invoice, pitched to exactly how late it is: a nudge under 15 days, a payment link under 45, a final notice past that. Every draft waits in the approval queue for your yes.
First sweep runs the same day · $0 for the first run · nothing sends without your approval
Remit works across
What you receive
A design studio’s overdue column — drafted, not sent.

How it works
Authorize the system that issues your invoices, then tell Remit where a nudge becomes a payment link and a payment link becomes a final notice.
Every invoice past its due date gets one reminder written for its age — plus the count, the total outstanding, and any payment that landed since last week.
Approve, edit or skip each draft. Approved reminders go out; an invoice already approved, sent or paid is never chased twice.
Inside every sweep
Twelve days gets a note that assumes the invoice was mislaid. Sixty-one gets a firm one that still leaves the relationship standing — written like you on a good day, not like a collections agency.
Every draft is filed pending. Edit the wording, skip the client who’s about to renew, hold the whole week — the queue does nothing until you approve it.
Chasing money is the task that slides to next Monday forever. The sweep runs at 09:00 every Tuesday whether you’re dreading it or not.
Who’s behind this
Chasing receivables weekly since 2025.
I was owed $30,000 and my collections process was ‘feel guilty on Sunday night’. Remit is that process written down, and it cleared the backlog inside a quarter — most clients weren’t refusing to pay, they were waiting for one polite line asking them to.

FAQ
Remit’s ladder is deliberately gentle: at 12 days the note assumes the invoice was mislaid, at 38 it carries a payment link, past 60 it names the next step without threatening anyone. And nothing leaves until you have read it. Most invoices clear on the first courteous line.
No. Remit files every reminder as pending and leaves it in the approval queue. You approve it, edit the wording, skip the client or hold the week — and an invoice whose reminder is already approved or sent is never drafted again.
Remit reads whatever issues your invoices — QuickBooks, Xero and Stripe invoicing are the common ones. It takes what is past due, and payments received since last week come back in the summary, so a client who has already paid is never chased.
Point Remit at your real aging report and read every drafted reminder before you decide $29 a month beats doing this yourself.
