Hiring ops · screened every weekday
Open the laptop to a callback list, not a stack of resumes.
Connect the intake inbox and write the must-haves for each open role. Every weekday Callback scores the new applicants and stages them — shortlist, screened or rejected, each carrying the one line of reasoning behind it.
The free sample screens the inbox you already have · first board the same day · no card, and no applicant is ever contacted
Works across
What you receive
One weekday run, every stage explained.
A trades hiring desk with three open roles, as the noon run left it.
How it works
Three steps between the inbox and the callback list.
Sign in, point Callback at the intake inbox, and write the must-haves for each opening — certifications, licences, years in the trade, location.
Every weekday at 12:00 UTC it pulls the new applicants from the inbox and the job boards and scores each one against that role's list.
New, screened, shortlist, rejected — every stage annotated. You open the shortlist and start calling while the rest of the pile reads itself.
Inside every run
Three things the board gives you that a pile never will.
Every stage carries the criterion behind it. A rejection is a sentence you can defend in a meeting, not a score nobody can explain.
The Friday-afternoon application gets the same read as Monday's first. The sweep runs every weekday whether or not you opened the inbox.
Applicant forty is screened exactly like applicant one — same must-haves, same threshold, no end-of-day drift.
Who's behind this
Built at a trades hiring desk, not on an ATS vendor's roadmap.
Screening applicant pipelines every weekday since 2025.
Hiring techs meant fifty applications a week, and the good ones were gone in three days. Callback does the first pass the way I do it — hard must-haves first, one honest line per decision — so I'm calling the shortlist while everyone else is still reading attachments.

FAQ
The three things people ask first.
Does it email or auto-reject my applicants?
No. Callback reads, scores and stages — that is the entire job. A 'rejected' stage is a row on your board with the criterion that was missed. Every message a candidate receives still comes from you.
What can Callback actually screen on?
Anything stated in the application: certifications, licences, years in the trade, location, salary expectations, availability. Must-haves are set per role and you can rewrite them between runs.
What happens to an application it can't judge?
It stages as 'new' with a line naming what was missing — no stated certification, an unreadable attachment. The ambiguous ones surface at the top of the board instead of sitting quietly in the inbox.
